Service Description

This service enables you to register liquidation for your CR. It is only applicable for companies (CCR). Moreover, you need to choose if it is compulsory or voluntarily. If it is compulsory, then you are required to provide court details and applicant’s name. In addition, if you are registering liquidation, you will have to select your liquidator, which can be an individual or a company.​​​

    Note: If the liquidator is a company, a representative from the company should be provided

Required Documents

​

In the event of a voluntary liquidation:

​

  1. Official Power of Attorney if the applicant is a non-related party.​

  2. Authorization Letter if the applicant is one of the Professional bodies registered at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce or if the applicant is one of the employees registered under the commercial registration..
    Note: Public sector employees are not allowed to establish commercial companies, however they may own shares in joint-stock companies (public and closed) and /or limited liability companies without assuming any administrative positions in them.​

  3. Identity proof.

  4. EGM for BSC & BSC(closed) or company's owner's decision (W.L.L) / Partners' resolution (W.L.L - Partnership company - Simple commendite company & Commandite by Shares Company)

 

In the event of a compulsory liquidation:

  1. Official Power of Attorney if the applicant is a non-related party.​

  2. Authorization Letter if the applicant is one of the Professional bodies registered at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce or if the applicant is one of the employees registered under the commercial registration..
    Note: Official power of attorney is not required if the applicant is the owner / partner / director or authorized signatory registered in Sijilat system under the CR.​

  3. Identity proof.

  4. A court decision to liquidate the company.

  5. A letter from the court appointing the company's liquidator.
